What is our niche? We are dependable, passionate, detail oriented and aesthetic as well as providing general labor. Environmentally conscious, we can create a pollinator garden or a lush to minimalist water wise lawn alternative. We respond quickly and take on small jobs that larger companies pass. Hire us to plant a single tree, build a small raised bed or decorate your grandmother’s patio with her favorite flowers for Mother’s Day. We know and take advantage of San Jose’s unique ecosystem and climate to produce custom designs that fit your taste, house architecture and style whether you want a solo retreat, a place to entertain, both or something in between.
Born in San Jose, Andre Robinson graduated from Arizona State University to return to San Jose to work as a manager at Lowe’s Outside Lawn and Garden for eight years with experience from the Merchandising Service Green Team. He founded the small business “Anything Garden” in 2025 after experience helping customers with maintenance and landscape projects believing that he could take his customer service/management experience in the green industry one step further.
Ian Waples has studied environmental horticulture and design at Foothill College, Los Altos Hills, California and has taken entire classes on irrigation, soil, landscape construction, trees, plants and more and has worked in Lowe's outside lawn and garden for eight years.
FAQ
What do you mean when you say you do small jobs?
Our philosophy is no job is too small. We can even provide basic services such as unloading product you have purchased from a garden center. We provide services that are not associated with landscape companies such as making arrangements from fresh cut seasonal flowers for indoors or to be enjoyed at outdoor parties. We can even provide services to help prepare for the garden party.
Do you offer free consultation?
Yes. We will personally come to your residence free of charge.
Do you do hardscaping?
We lay down and landscape rocks. We do not build walls or lay pavers.
Do the gardens require maintenance, and if so, do you provide it?
The amount of maintenance totally depends on the garden or installation. A succulent garden will require very little maintenance, where as a larger garden filled with annuals may take frequent maintenance. We do provide maintenance services for our installations and will be upfront and direct on the cost and frequency that maintenance will be required. We would typically charge around $50 per visit plus the cost of product to perform maintenance on an installation(s). Maintenance includes deadheading, pruning, fertilizing, replacing bloomed out/dead plants with new product and shopping for/delivering the new product. For more general maintenance and labor, we can provide services such as mulching, mowing, clean up, etc.
Do you install irrigation?
Many of the irrigation needs have simple solutions and we may be able to install a simple drip irrigation system. If we cannot, we contract with a company and give you an estimate for more complex watering needs. For a more cost effective solution, we can plan around existing irrigation, replacing dead, unattractive or boring plants. Of course, planters can also be watered by the client by hand. We can also create water wise landscapes that require very little irrigation.
What if the installed plants, trees, or shrubs die?
We have a year guarantee on all perennial plants, shrubs, and trees.
How do you give estimates?
We give a quote for the exact cost of the job which will not change unless the client decides on changes mid project.
What is an example of your pricing?
The planters featured on this site typically run from $300 to $450 including delivery and installation.
